The team at So Catchy! Where Fashion Begins was fortunate this year to attend Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam. Besides the talented AM\Westen we were able to see work from Tailor & Elbaz, already a household name a year after the launch of their label. On top of the shows, we were able to get the crème de la crème of Dutch fashion lovers all together in one place and posing for our cameras. We hope you enjoy our (photo)report and streetstyle shots.
Streetstyle Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam
AM\WESTEN
This is the fourth collection of AM\Westen (Annemarie Westen, 1989), who is known for her simplistic yet gorgeous designs with materials such as silk and cashmere. In her own words: ‘every product is made with love and care for the environment.’ Annemarie’s collection was part of Vodafone First Fashion Lab PRO, a stage for young and innovative designers.
Tailor & Elbaz
Tailor & Elbaz (Tamara Elbaz and Maria Tailor) also presented their fourth collection at this year’s Amsterdam fashion week. The collection, called Queen of the hearts, looks sweet as candy and the show had a suitable Alice in Wonderland theme.
